per email from Susan Colpitt, Nov. 23, 2005.2,6 Illa Beatrice Bound died on 21 November 1930 at Oakville Woodville County Road, Eldon Twp., Grasshill, Victoria Co., Ontario, at age 33; "(According to the newspaper clippings that my aunt Doris gave me copies of, Illa and Donald Edward Daynes and their baby Lloyd were hit by a train Friday morning Nov. 21st, 1930 at the CNR crossing on the Oakville Woodville County Road near Grasshill station. Illa and Lloyd died instantly and Eddie died later in the hospital. My father who was 5 yrs at the time and his two sisters Bernice and Doris were in the backseat were injured, but not life threatening injuries, and brought to the hospital. Dad remembers having a gash on his head.
