He was a former member of the official board and an elder in his church. He was a life member of the Stirling Lodge, IOOF 239. IN 1969 he received the 50 year jewel from the lodge. For many years he serves as a lodge chaplain. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. W. Cox, Stirling, were held from the Weaver Funeral Home, Trenton on Monday, June 7 at 1:30 p.m.. The interment took place in the Weaver Cemetery, Rawdon Township.
