Death Notice: Nora H. Ames - Nora H. Ames, 93, of 98 Middle St., a housewife, died early Monday morning at her home following an eight month illness. She was born Jan 21 1899, in Mt. Clemens, Mich., a daughter of Joseph and Harriet Drum. She and Karel Ames were married Jan 18 1921 in Pontiac, Mich. He died Aug 9, 1958. Mrs. Ames was a member of Sacred Heart Church, the VFW Auxiliary and was past president of the Cooties. Surviving are a daughter Catherine Spallas of Canfield, Ohio; two grandsons, on of thom, Karel Gonter, made his home with Mrs. Ames. Also, surviving are a great-grandchild and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her parents, her husband, a son, a brother and three sisters. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Weller-Wonderly Funeral Home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight. the VFW Auxiliary will hold a service at the funeral home at 8 tonight."
