Gibson after (Capt.) Josiah George's being lost at sea(?) around 1840. I don't think they had any children as I have in 1842 she was still Charlotte George but by 1862 she was Charlotte Gibson. She may have been past child bearing by then? Note I have Josiah disappeared when 40 years old, left wife, 3 girls and 2 boys. Edward M. Note: This is the only 1840 Census record for Josiah George that matches the ages of the parents and children, more or less. Oswego would be a perfectly logical place for him to be since he was a "Mariner" on the lakes. He does not appear in Murray during the 1830's at all.
