Note: I noticed William Judd just above Joseph B. Tyler and his wife Louisa (Thorne). Tyler was a name I had seen on a land registry record in Brighton Townhship in the early 1870s, dealing with inheritances re the will of Edmond James Thorne. Daughters Louisa and Elibabeth had been unaccounted for after the 1861 Census. The name Joseph B. Tyler was fairly clear but the married name for Elizabeth was not. I thought maybe Judd, or Rudd or something, but nothing popped out. Now, I see the sisters both married miners in California and are starting families as early as the 1870 Census.
