I bought the book Brighton Business,s 1816 to 2009 ans found out that Walter had purchased the Orland Mill in 1933 and that his brother-in-law Shelden Phillips has also owned it in 1911. This changed a bunch of assumptions as to where Walter livd and where my father grew up. I knew that my father, Harrison had a trucking business in Orland and I believe my mother Inez (nee Vosbough) worked on the telephone switchboard. Dad later bought the Bottling Works in Brighton. I drove by the Orland mill yesterday and see it is up for sale.
