Sintaluta -- Located 80 km east of Regina on the Trans-Canada highway. Sintaluta has a population of 125 people. (Saskatchewan Genealogical Society Web site)
Per modern Saskatchewan map: Sintaluta is on the Trans-Canada Highway about 85 km east of Regina, 30 km east of Q'Appelle. She Bernice Brown told Dan Buchanan that Ernie Valleau died in Saskatchewan and his wife brought his body back to Ontario for burial in Hastings where his father Jesse's home was. She apparently stayed in the area caring for Ernie's parents thereafter. circa 1922 at Saskatchewan.4 She lived on 4 July 1933 at Hastings, Peterborough Co., Ontario; Informant for Death Reg'n. of Charity Ann (Watson) Valleau, her mother-in-law.5 She lived on 7 August 1933 at Hastings, Northumberland Co., Ontario; Informant for Death Reg'n. of Jesse Wellington Valleau, her father-in-law.5

Their attendants were Mrs. Alice (Turney) Murdock and Mr. George H. Clark. Dora is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Turney, Morganston and Owen is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Clark, Brighton Township. They have one son Howard and one daughter Mary (Mrs. Bernard O'Rourke) both of R.R. 1, Campbellford and they have ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. On Saturday evening, October 22nd their chidren and grandchildren honoured their Golden Anniversary at a dinner party at the home of Bernard and Mary O'Rourke and Phil and Sharon O'Rourke. ..
