"On to another person, Hattie Geneva McColl, who I think went by her Geneva name, was the sister of the grandfather of the previous paragraph. When I read the book on the McColls by Leona Austin, I presumed that her burial in Arlington referred to the large American cemetery near Washington D.C. for the military as her husband was listed as a Major and they lived in the U.S. So, when I had the opportunity, in 2001, I deliberately went to Arlington Cemetery, Virginia, to find her but could not. They have a really excellent information booth to find people plus a computer place to do it oneself. There were four of us there but came up with zero. If I recall correctly, there were no McColls there at all. The information lady said the wives would be buried under the name of their husband.We tried various spellings of his name but came up with no match.
