Mrs. Stacey, was one of the most impressive events in the history of that congregation of which deceased was an honored and valued member for so many years. In his sermon, Rev. Mr. Stacey paid a high tribute to the upright character and kindly disposition of the deceased woman. It was a matter of general regret and of deep grief to the bereaved husband and daughter at home that none of the other members of the family could attend the obsequies.
