The daughters, Mary and Isabella, were by Hugh's first wife, Amelia Ann McConnell, who died in 1849. Davidson in The Moreland Family document. I found no information to support this in any other documents. The census records clearly show Sarah A. to be the wife of the family. I wonder who Margaret Quinn is? The name is in the Smith Twp. census although I have not looked in detail. in 1878 at Ontario. He married Sarah A. ? before 1879 at Smith Twp., Peterborough Co., Ontario; ?? Census records show Sarah A. to be Hugh M. Davidson's wife. He Homestead records can be obtained from the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society in Regina. These records would show when Hugh M. Davidson took up his homestead at Davidson, where he came from and may some info re his family. The records are on microfilm and there would be a fee to have them printed and mailed.
