This was because Fritz was involved in the marketting of apples between Kingston and Toronto. Ted Mound grew up in the west of England where his father was in the game bird business. His brother, Jack, now retired and living in Trenton, for some years ran a game bird operation north of Brighton. Mound has recently sold his orchards to his son-in-law, Edward Kennedy and his daughter, Patricia."
