After several years illness the death occurred at her home in Granton on Wednesday of Elizabeth Ann Gunning, widow of the late John T. Parkinson, who predeceased her about eighteen month ago.
Mrs. Parkinson who was born on the 12th concession of Blanshard and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gunning. After her marriage to Mr. Parkinson they resided in Usborne Tp. for some time then moving back to Blanshard Tp. until about 12 years ago the family moved to Granton. She is survived by a family of six children, namely; Mrs. A. Chittick, of Blanshard: Mrs. J Whiteford, of St. Marys, and Miss Adelaide at home and Frank, George and Harvey of Blanshard township. Mr. Albert and Arthur Gunning, of Blanshard are brothers. Mrs. David Parkinson and Mrs. Jas. Hern, of Exeter, Mrs. Geo. Millson and Miss Lucy Gunning, of Whalen are sisters of the deceased.
