In THE BRIGHTON ENSIGN of February 10th 1893, I.M. Wellington related the memories of Mrs. Parks who was the daughter of Mr. Hubel. "Mr. Hubel bought a farm in the front of the Township of Cramahe on the Lakeshore about a mile west of what was then called the Milligan Beach. While living in Cramahe, although quite young, she well remembers an old lady by the name of Richardson, also James Lyons and family who lived down on the north side of Presqu'Ile Harbor, and had often heard her father speak of Colonel Peters, old Mr.
Goodyear, the Milligans, old Mr. Proctor, Capt.
