Note: This piece in the Tobey Book rose to my attention due to research on Edward Goodyear. This reference to "old Mr. Goodyear" by Sarah Ruth (Hubble) Parks means that this old Mr. Goodyear was in this area when she was a youngster, so in the first two decades of the 1800s. Since I had abslutely no family info re any Goodyears in this area, this spurred me on to look deeper - and to good effect. Thanks Sarah!
