     Melissa Williams was born in 1832 at Ontario; Date & loction per 1861 Census. Per marriage register. As of 24 March 1856,her married name was Dingman. She married Henry Shiffer Dingman, son of Col. Henry Dingman and ? Brown, on 24 March 1856 at Parsonage, Ameliasburgh Twp., Prince Edward Co., Ontario; "At same place (parsonage) Mar 24, Henry Dingman, 2nd son of Col. H. Dingman of Marysburgh and Melissa Williams of Ameliasburgh. Rev J. C. Slater" from The Christian Guardian 1855 - 1856, Apr 9 1856, taken from Ontario Registers CD. Melissa Williams lived on 4 November 1859 at Bay Side Lot 38, North Marysburgh Twp., Prince Edward Co., Ontario; Land Registry Records (B&S 1201) show that Henry Dingman and wife sold 50 acrs of the centre front of Lot 38, Bay Side, to his son, Henry S. Dingman and wife, jointly. She appeared on the census of April 1861 at Marysburgh Twp., Prince Edward Co., Ontario; Age 29 at 1861 Census: see Henry Dingman (father-in-law.)¹ She lived on 30 April 1868 at Bay Side Lot 38, North Marysburgh Twp., Prince Edward Co., Ontario; Land Registry Records (B&S 2015) show that Henry S. Dingman and Melissa Dingman sold the Front Half of Lot 38, Bay Side, to John Wylie.
