Mr. Simpson was groundskeeper at the Warkworth Cemetery for the past 11 years. He was a carpenter by trade. He was a member of Percy Masonic Lodge 161 and of the Warkworth Chapter, Royal Arch Masons 110. Services were held Wednesday April 7 at 2 pm in the Allen Funeral Home, Warkworth, conducted be Rev. Beth Hankinson. Interment took place in Warkworth Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jack Honey, Arthur Wartman, Edward Hucke, Blair Huycke, Harry Brownson, Norman McCubbin, and Rowland Edwards."
