"One of the most pleasing events of the season took place on Thursday, July 20th, at the residence of Mr. E. H. Purdy, of Cramahe, near Colborne, when his eldest daughter, Stella, was wedded to Mr. W. Bellamy, B. A., head master of the High School in the village of Colborne. Mr. J. W. Grey, M. A., of Brighton, was best man while Miss Lillian Purdy, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. .... performed by the Rev. J. P. Wilson, B.
