- Death*: 10 December 1929; Ferndale, Washington, U.S.A.; "Former Resident Killed in Auto Crash: Word comes from Ferndale, Washington, of a tragedy in that neighborhood in which two former residents of this county met an untimely death. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Franklin of Mountain View, Washington, were almost instantly killed in an auto crash near Ferndale in December 10th last. Three sons, Roy Franklin, Ferndale, Marshall and Clarence of Los Angeles and three daughters, Mrs. Fred Kenoyer, Bellingham, Mrs. Samuel Edwards, Vancouver, B. C., and Mrs. Floyd Frye, Alberta, are left to mourn their loss. They also have 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
