Note: Very interesting to see Thomas Smith and Joseph Pelkey together. It says Pelkey was not a member of the household, so not a relative. Hannah Simmons1

F, b. circa 1800
FatherDavid Simmons b. 1770
Mother? ? b. c 1800
Hannah Simmons was born circa 1800; per Death Reg'n. of dau. Margaret Ann (Smith) Young.
Note: I am placing this Hannah Simmon(s) as a daugher of David Simmons due to obvious proximity and timing. These families were on the same lot, Lot 18, Conc B, Murray Twp., at the same time, in the 18-teens. Looks like Thomas Smith came as a discharged soldier and took up the east half of Lot 18 in 1815 and married the neighbour girl very soon after arriving. Anyone have any more info re this? Context for this comes from census records and Margaret L. May's research about south Murray Twp.1,2 She married Thomas Smith circa 1817 at Murray Twp., Northumberland Co., Upper Canada; Thomas Smith is single per the 1816 Census in Murray Twp. but married for 1817 Census. per Death Reg'n. of dau.
