"The Late Mrs. A. C. Gould - Sad at any time is the presence of death in the home circle, but inexpressibly sad does it become when a wife and mother follows the lead of the distant beckoning had that calls mortals away to another sphere of life. In Tuesday, however, the silent messenger came to the home of Mr. A. C. Gould and beside the grief-stricken husband, three sons and one little daughter, mourn the loss of a devoted mother. The late Mrs. Gould had been seriously ill for some two or three weeks with inflammation of the lungs and although hope of her reovery was not given up until within the last few days, her physician and family knew that from the first her condition was very serious. Deceased was 39 years of age. The funeral was private and took place on Thursday afternoon from the family residence, corner of James and Colborne St.'s, to St. Peter's cemetery.
