Note: Sarah's 1891 Census record also says that her parents were born in England and US.1,2,3,4,5,6 She I am putting Sarah Pierce (1835-1911), who married Lewis Palen, as a daughter of William Pierce and Anna Winch. I have seen nothing that directly links them but she is right there at Waupoos, shown specifically to be born there. Unfortunately, all the regualr sources that might help are missing in action. There is no 1851 Census for Marysburgh Twp. so we don't see her with the family. I have seen no record of her marriage to Lewis Palen in 1858. Her Death Reg'n. in 1911 shows no parents, which seems odd for that late, but the whole set of pages was formatted that way. DARN!!
