Mr. S.S. Young entered upon a business career and for some time conducted a large and successful whoelsale grocery business in Trenton. Retiring for some time from business, Mr. Young became a considerable of a world treavller, finally settling in Toronto, where for some years he represented business interests of Lond, England, New Yorl, and West Indies. Never a seeker of office, Mr. Young, however, filled with great efficiency, positions of trust like that of Town Councillor and Member of the School baord when they were thrust upon him He was a man of sterling charcter, kindliness of spirit and exceptional winsomeness of manner. He was warmly beloved by all who knew him he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Ireland Young, and one daugher, Mrs. Nelson E.
