Lovett - Mrs. Alice E. Lovett, 154 Hastings Drive, Belleville, formely of Mount Carmel, died Wednesday, May 21, in her 86th year at Belleville General Hopsital. She had been in failing health for seven months. Mrs. Lovett had resided in Belleville for the past three years. Born in Cramahe Township, she was the daughter of the later Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mutton. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Lovett in 1973. She formerly resided in Mount Carmel community, Murray Township. She was the mother of the late Charles Lovett and the mother-in-law of Mrs. Doreen Lovett, Belleville. She was the grandmother of Patricia Campbell, Toronto, Ronald Lovett, Belleville, Gary Lovett, Minaki, James Lovett, MacKenzie, B.C., Debbie Lovett, Thompson, Manitoba and the great grandmother of Kimberley, Jeffery and Kirstyn. She was the sister of Hugh Mutton and Miss Nellie Mutton, R.R. 2, Colborne and was predeceased by Ernest, Lew, Harold and Neil Mutton. Mrs. Lovett was a former school teacher with a careet n teaching of more than 40 years. She was educated at Castleton Public School and Colborne High School. .... Service were held from the Weaver Funeral Home, Trenton, at 3 pm Friday, May 23 conducted by Rev. Charles McLaren. Interment tool place in Shilo Cemetery, Cramahe Township. Pallbearers were Floyd, Bruce, Bert, Charles and Gordon Mutton and John Purdy. Flower bearers were Donald and Dean Chapman and Ralph Douglas."
