Middle Name: "I noticed on Austin's birth record that he was listed as "Oscar L. Nathan Dingman" His middle name was probably "Elnathan" which is a common old school name. He must have liked Austin better that Oscar!" per email from Sandy Wunder, Feb 21 2010.
Actually, both Austin and his brother Oscar had the same middle name and the Registrar had a heck of a time with it. Both Birth Registrations were corrected later and even then it is not clear what spelling they wanted. I expect the spelling that Sandy Wunder provides "Alnathan" is correct.
