     Francis Lewis Chase was born circa 1862 at Ameliasburgh Twp., Prince Edward Co., Canada West; It is unclear from records I have seen whether Francis Lewis Chase was a son of Sarah Miller or Sarah Ann Gleason. I am assuming the former. The birth date of 1869 seems unlikely as well, although he may have decided that was a better number later in life.
