Note: Various accounts suggested that Emma King, daughter of Manly, lived for a time with her uncle, David Nelson King, at the farm in Codrington. This Census record would confirm that, although the date of Birth (Sep 1887) is different than we have for her???⁵ She lived circa 1912 at Brighton Twp., Codrington, Northumberland Co., Ontario; D'Arcy Davidson suggests that Emma lived with David Nelson King in Codrington. This could have been between 1901 (she is not in the David Nelson King census) and 1913 when she married James Ross, who lived just down the road from Codrington.
