The late Mr. Puffer was 52 years of age. A resident of this town for seventeen years, the later Mr. Puffer was born in Norwood, the son of the later Isaac Puffer and Jane Cuthbertson. He was employed by the Union Bank of Canada and also was on the staff of a United States bank in Detroit for several years before coming to Leamington in 1932. In 1929 he was married to Miss Belva Ames of this town. During the past few months he had acted as field man for the South Essex Co-Operative Association. He was a member of Leamington United Church and also a member of Lodge No. 223, Norwood, A.F. & A.M. Surviving besides his wife are three brothers, W. J. Puffer of Havelock, Gordon T. of Peterborough, and Harry of Lindsay, and one sister, Mrs. J. Murray of Sherman Oaks,Calif. The funeral services were held at the Smith Funeral Home yesterday afternoon with Rev. Sidney Davison of Leamington United Church officiating.
