The ledger is dated 1775. Robert believes that Elisha was in Cramahe, Northumberland Cty. Ontario by this date. Of course this is ridiculous because the area was not settled until much later. Elisha received land as a United Empire Loyalist in 1796. He was living at Cramahe by the earliest census of 1803. The ledger contains notations of Elisha's business as a shoemaker. It also contains the birth dates of all his children and the death dates of the 2 girls who died in NY. We also have Elisha's will and his land petitions for land as a loyalist.
