He was reported missing and later his death was confirmed after many months. He enlisted with the R.C.A.F. in November of 1942 and trained at Trenton, Toronto and Western Canada before going overseas in October of 1943. He was reported missing last June after a bombing mission over Germany. He was 21 years of age and was born in Shelter Valley. He received his education at Wicklow and Cobourg Collegiate Institute.
