  Note: This document is almost impossible to transcribe. The handwriting is more inclined toward style than readability. I tried to find several words in a row that were more or less clear and build at easch end one word at a time. The text I have done contains enough information to confirm that this is the right Thomas Allan, the one who was the father of Thomas Allan who acquired land in Seymour Twp., Upper Canada around 1836. He mentions his son Thomas Allan "at tenant of Fogorig" as well as his wife, Mr. Jane Allan. There is also mention of two remaining daughters, Margaret and Agnes, which matches with the family lost we have from ancestry.ca. (Dan Buchanan, May 12 2021)
