Weaver, Hastings Manor, Belleville and formerly of Rawdon Township, died in Hastings Manor on Saturday, June 5, in his 91st year. Mr. Weaver, who was the son of the later Mr. and Mrs. William Weaver, was born in Rawdon Township. He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl Casement and was predeceased by his first wife, the late Louise Vandervoort. Mr Weaver had been living in Belleville for the past two years. Before that he resided in Rawdon Township. Mr. Weaver was the father of Arthur Weaver, RR 3 Frankford and Kenneth Weaver, RR 3 Stirling. He is also survived by two grandchildren and two great gradnchildren. He was the brother of Mrs. Grace Vandervoort, RR 3 Stirling. A retired farmer since 1960, Mr. Weaver received his education in Rawdon Township and at Stirling High School. He was a member of Mount Pleasant United Church. He was a former member of the official board and an elder in his church. He was a life member of the Stirling Lodge, IOOF 239. IN 1969 he received the 50 year jewel from the lodge. For many years he serves as a lodge chaplain. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. W. Cox, Stirling, were held from the Weaver Funeral Home, Trenton on Monday, June 7 at 1:30 p.m.. The interment took place in the Weaver Cemetery, Rawdon Township.
