Only three weeks previous the deceased attended the funeral of his brother, the late Monroe Gould of Salem, at which time he was in good health. About 73 years ago Mr. Gould was born in the Township of Cramahe where he resided for 21 years, then removed to Newcombe's Mills (now Orland) and some years later went to reside in Colborne. About 10 years ago he moved to Toronto. He was esteemed by all his acquaintances. In religion he was a Methodist. He was a member of the Mason Order, the A. O. U. W. and L. O. L. A family of three children are left to mourn the loss of a kind father, Carman of Peterborough, Henry of Warkworth and Mrs. Norman Montgomery of Brighton. The funeral service was held at his late residence on Friday, 12th inst., and interment took place at Salem Cemetery, Rev. Jas.
