She married in 1874, came to Manitoba in 1879, and, with her husband, settled at Neepawa, in 1882, where the family has since resided, Mrs. Fieldhouse was one of the original members of Neepawa Methodism, ... She leaves two married sons residing in Wainwright, Alta., one daughter, Mrs Collette, in Calgary, and a daughter and husband, our efficient recording steward in the old Neepawa home."

Fieldhouse on Sunday afternoon to Riverside cemetery was attended by many sorrowing friends and relatives and the memorial service in the Methdist church Sunday night, conducted by Rev. Mrs. Stacey, was one of the most impressive events in the history of that congregation of which deceased was an honored and valued member for so many years. In his sermon, Rev. Mr. Stacey paid a high tribute to the upright character and kindly disposition of the deceased woman. It was a matter of general regret and of deep grief to the bereaved husband and daughter at home that none of the other members of the family could attend the obsequies.
