I think James may be a son of Asa Richardson, Loyalist, and his wife, Tamar Bronson [Brownson]. Asa resided in Fredericksburg, Ontario, Canada. Asa was born about 1750 in the USA and was buried 4 August 1789. Tamar was buried on 16 May 1796. The burials are listed in Langhorn's Anglican registers. 6.
