That lot is sold in 1822 by an Alexander McKenzie. Mary was not the daughter of a loyalist in 1797 and her mother petitioned for that status in Jan 1798 just two months after being granted land. Mary Taylor was married to a John McKenzie and Alexander McKenzie is her son. Alexander's baptism is dated 24 Apr 1774 in the baptism register of the Dutch Church at Kinderhook, Columbia, with witnesses Isaac Van Slyck and Catherine Huyck.
