Note: Susan Brose told me that the name of the dentist was Dr. Eddie Sanford. That would be Edward Alexander Sanford (1870-1916), son of John Edward Sanford, who was born in Brighton but moved to Rochester and was a dentist there, along with one of his brothers. These two brothers were sons of William Hawley Sanford. Edward A. Sanford lived in New York City, then in New Rochelle, Westchester County, where John Atkins is shown in the 1910 US Federal Census.
