"Death of Mr. John Goodfellow (Feb 1904 written in) - In the person of Mr. John Goodfellow, of Sarawak, who died Monday, an old pioneer who has been a resident of the township for upwards of forty years, passed away. Deceased had been in failing health for some time, though seldom confined to his bed, and this fact, considering that he had reached the advanced age of 82 years, showed that he possessed a rugged frame and a stong consitution. Deceased was a native of Ireland. By industry and good management of the farm he acquired considerable property. His son John resides on the homestead. The remains were interred in Greenwood cemetery on Wedensday."
