He is the brother of Mrs. Lillie Wright, Belleville; Mrs. Irene Roberts, Codrington; Mrs. Lulu Heales, RR 1, Campbellford; Norman Hazelwood of Trenton and Bryce Hazelwood of RR 2, Codrington. He was a self-employed farmer. He was United Church by faith. Mr. Hazelwood was active in minor sports in the area for many years. Services were held Friday, April 11, 1986 at 1:30 pm at the R. W. Mackey Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Fred Edmondson. Interment took place at McPhail's Cemetery. Pallbearers were San Hazelwood, Jim Ingram, Bill Dingman, Howard Sheppard, Arnold Peister and Allan Anderson.
