Sam'l Marsh. Hope Township Census records indicate that Robert Benjamin Marsh was a child with Samuel William Marsh from 1810 and he is in Hope Township persistently for the rest of his life. Later census records show his place of birth as Hope Township. Something may have happened with William Samuel Marsh that caused his son to be raised by his brother Samuel W. Marsh in Hope Township, Ontario rather than in Vermont where he appeared to live. Maybe the mother died or it was not a legitimate birth --- or --- or ...... for now I will be leaving Robert Benjamin Marsh with Samuel William Marsh - until we see something definitive to suggest that is incorrect. circa 1810.
