Obituary: Funeral services for the late John Hart, Smiths Falls, were held in the Havelock United Church, conducted by Rev. R. G. Newman. Interment was made in Maple Grove Cemetery. The late Mr. Hart was born in Castleton a son of the late Freeman Hart and Rebecca Masters and came to Belmont when a small boy. While a young man, he joined the C. P. R. as a brakesman and later moved to Smiths Falls. He was a pensioned conductor and was in his 75th year. He passed away suddenly last Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, the former Myrtle Buchanan, two daughters (Marjorie) Mrs. J. Wilkinson, (Edith) Mrs. H. Lewis and one son, Charles, all of Smiths Falls.
