Hartford were held Tuesday, December 21, 1954, in the Allen Funeral Home, Warkworth, the Rev. T. E. Kennedy of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church officiating. Mrs. Hartford died Sunday morning at her home in Cramahe Township, after being in poor health for the past two years. She was the daughter of Charles Rightmyer, and the late Mrs. Rightmyer. Mr. Rightmyer now lives in Orland. Besides her husband, Claude Hartford, she leaves thirteen children, all living in the district. They are Leo, 26, Rupert 25, Alan, 23, Vernon, 22, Ceci, 21, Bill, 19, Joseph, 17, Lowell, 15, Lenna, 13, Eunice, 11, Jacob, 9, Mary, 7 and Madeline, 3. There are four grandchildren.. Also living are one brother, Bristin Rightmyer, in Toronto, and four sisters, Violet, Mrs. Harold Puffer of Wooler, Reta, Mrs. Lee Palmateer of Brighton, Norma, Mrs. Ican Weatherup of Grafton and Edna, Mrs. Raymond Chrysler of Campbellford. Burial was in the Stone Cemetery,Norham.
