Niagara which attracted such wide attention last week on account of the value of the cargo of sugar which it brought into buffalo. Mr. Goodfellow is a son of Mrs. John Goodfellow, of Presque Isle and this is the second seasn he has been sailing on the Niagara. The following dispatch to the Globe from Buffalo refers to the cargo: - The steamer Niagara of the Boland & Cornelius fleet completed yesterday loading one of the most valuable cargoes taken by lake ship at this port. It consisted of 2,418 tone of sugar, or 4,836,0 poinds. At a price of 22 cents a pound the value is $1,063,920. This cargo of sugar was brought to Buffalo through the barge canal.
