Puddephatt who had a life lease on the property. "It includes some buildings", noted LTC general manager Glenda Rodgers at the boad meeting. She showed slides of the buildings which included a run-down brick house, a workshop, garage, grainery, pheasant shed, and old barn and a newer barn. "It could be used for storage," suggested Jim Harrison. Rodgers noted the LTC owns 1,650 acres of the Murray Marsh and the Ministry of Natural Resources owns 3,158. It is provinically significant wetland with 100 bird species. The marsh is a natural habitat area with no trials or facilities. It is located on the Trent River northwest of Frankford, near Percy Reach. Rodgers said they are forming a task group of two or three board members to decide the management of the Puddephat property. It would be part of the Management Plan for Murray Marsh. Jim Harrison said it was the intent of Mr. Puddephat to donate the land to LTC to maintain it as natural habitat." EMC, Jan 2011.⁶

He was very passionate in his commitment to helping, lending in his auction practices to assist in fundraising initiatives and was very proud of his agriculture background and the wonderful support he had at any given time. His memory lives on in all who knew him and his legacy continues in future generations to come. Cremation has taken place. Family invite friends for a time of memorial visitation at the Weaver Family Funeral Home - West Chapel, 170 Dundas Street West, Trenton on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5-8 pm.
