Note: John Massey's family is not shown in the 1851 Personal Census records for Percy Twp. We know he was there since he is in the Agr. List so we must expect that there are pages missing. I have had this same suggestion dealing closely with other families in the area so I am not surprised - it confirms what I have seen.
Note: I have printed all pages of the 1851 Census from microfilm at The Ontario Archives. Once I got them on paper at home I could see how jumbled up the pages were. At the beginning of Part 2 there are obviously pages missing - pg. 2 the Darling kids are at the top of the page with no other page showing Darling's at the bottom. This may be speculation but seems obvious to me.6 - Census: April 1861; Percy Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario; Age 51 at 1861 Census: Massey, John, 51, b.
