"Walter Newson (a stepson) and his wife Cynthia, lived for many years with them in the house on the hill. Then they moved to Colborne until the death of Aunt Mary, when they returned to take care of the father. After his death, they built a house on the south thirty-five acres, and, after their death, their daughter, Olive, who married Walter Dale, inherited it, and sold it to John Mutton. The house was demolished soem time ago. Olive has since passed away. She had one brother, Archie, who now lives in the west. "Maud used to live with her grandparents. She cared for Aunt Mary when she was ill. After her grandmother's death, she moved to Western Canada to live with her brother Charlie. She married Mr. Waldron, and had several children. She came home once for a visit but I have not heard from her for several years. I believe she went to live with a son in the Peace River District."
