Note: I am entering this census record as part of an experiment to see if this Benjamin Palmer might be the husband of Hannah L. Bristol. Mary A. appears to be the second wife and this fits with Hannah's death in 1846. Five childlren, ranging in age from 17 to 6 are shown to be born in Canada. Let's see if this fits. Let's also consider that William Van Doozer and his wife Jane Ann Bristol are just two pages ahead in this same census at Racine, Wisconsin.
