Death Notice: "Robert Duncan Thomas Cumming; The death this morning of R. D. T. Cumming removes one of our citizens who has spent his life in Trenton, having been born in trenton about 57 years ago. he was the eldest son of the late James Cumming. On the decease of his father some 40 years ago he became the acting trustee of the Cummings estate up to the time of his death. He was well and favourablly known throughout this district. He always retained his friends, made no enemies, was reserved in manner. Had no desire for public life, was honorable and straight-forward in his dealings, and his loss to Trenton will be felt. He was an adherent of King St. Methodist Church, a member of the I.O.O.F., and several other fraternal societies. He is survived by his widow, on son, James, on daughter, Flora, the wife of A. D. McIntyre of Molsons Bank, his aged mother, Mrs. D. R. Murphy, one sister, Mrs. (Dr.) Wright of Toronto and one brother, James Ross Cumming. His funeral will be held at this late residence, Victoria St., on Sunday, June 2 at 2:30 pm, under the auspices of the I.O.O.F.
