"FLINDALL-SILLS; A pretty house wedding took place at the home of Mr. William Sills of the Lakeshore Road, on Wednesday, June 18th, when his only daughter, Viola Martha, was united in marriage with Edwin J. Flindall of Murray. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Boyce of Smithfield. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a gown of green tamoline silk, trimmed with green satin and pearl trimming and pearl fringe, and wore a bridal veil of white silk tulle, and carried a bouquet of cream lilies. The bridal couple, who were unattended, stood beneath an arch of green leaves and white roses. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Boyce. At the conclusion of the ceremony a sumptuous wedding dinner was served.
A number of useful and costly presents were in evidence.
The bride's going away suit was of grey silk poplin with a beautiful white hat. Mr. and Mrs. Flindall departed amid a shower of good wishes and old shoes.
