All told she spent about 42 years teaching in Ontario and Manitoba, broken by an interval of seven years from 1905 to 1912, when she was Postmistress in the town of Stonewall, Manitoba. ... Retiring in 1932, she moved to British Columbia, living in Vancouver, and later with her sister, Mrs. C. H. Stonehouse at Maple Ridge. ... She is survived by one brother, Rev. W. H. Stratton, Vancouver, one sister, Mrs. Stonehouse, of Haney, B. C. and some sixteen nieces and nephews. The funeral was conducted by her pastor, Rev. Stanley Berridge, followed by cremation at Mountain View, the ashes being sent to Stonewall, Manitoba, for burial in the family plot. A former pastor and friend, Rev. R. E.
