She married John Henry Bumstead Sr. in 1881 at Ontario; "The Bumsteads (JOhn, his wife, Elizabeth (nee Smallie) whom he married in 1881 ... " per pg. Elizabeth Smallie lived in 1902 at Conc 5 Lot 6, S 1/2, Hudson Twp., Timiskaming District, Ontario; "1902 - John Henry Bumstead - He purchased this property in 1902 as John Doughty wanted to leave. The Bumsteads (John, his wife, Elizabeth (nee Smallie) whom he married in 1881, and son Bob) came on the Meteor, stayed at the Canada Hotel for awhile and then moved to Hudson Township. The rest of the their family came later. They were: Liddie, Lissie, Maud, Ernest, John and Pearl - the latter two were twins." per pg. Note: The years per burials for both Pearl and John are different although the day and month is the same. The book says they were twins so this must be a mistake. I am using the earlier date or Sept 21, 1901 since the book also suggests that the children were born before the family came to Hudson Twp. She died on 28 March 1925 at Hudson Twp., Timiskaming District, Ontario, at age 23; Per burial.
